Graphic Abstract in the Journal "Nanosystems: Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics"
A graphic abstract is a condensed visual illustration of the main results of the article. This can be either the main figure (graph) from the article itself, or a specially prepared figure, graphically illustrating the main result of the work to readers.
Presentation of the main results of the work in the form of a graphic abstract in our journal is not mandatory. But authors interested in attracting readers' interest in their scientific achievements can take advantage of this opportunity by providing a visual image of the main conclusions of the work, which will supplement the brief information received by readers from the title and text abstract.
The graphical abstract will be displayed online on the journal's website, but will not be presented in the electronic or printed versions of the article text.
The graphical abstract will also be presented on the website of the Nanotechnology Society "Nanometer": http://www.nanometer.ru
When posting graphical abstracts of the authors of the journal "Nanosystems: Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics" on websites, all the necessary information will be provided so that readers can get a full bibliographic reference to the article and go to the website where they can read the text abstract and the full text of the article. This will significantly expand the circle of potential readers of your scientific articles.
Instructions for authors on composing a graphical abstract
The graphical abstract should allow readers to quickly understand how interesting your article may be to them. Thus, in the graphical abstract it is desirable not only to visualize the main result of the work, but also to give an image of the scientific field that your article covers.
Graphic abstracts should be presented as separate image files without including additional information about the title of the work and the authors of the article, or texts such as "graphic abstract".
When composing a graphic abstract, the following rules must be followed:
- The abstract should not be filled with excessive explanations. The graphics should be as self-sufficient as possible. If a drawing requires extensive explanations, then it is no longer an illustration to the text, but a text "illustration" to the drawing. Such a drawing is not functional.
- The image should not contain small details, since when posted on the site it will be proportionally scaled, not necessarily with the increase in the drawing.
- Preferred formats of drawings .jpg, .png
