Scientific experience:

Methods for finding the mechanism and rate of transitions, such as diffusion events, chemical reactions, conformational

changes, magnetic transitions, etc.  Simulations of crystals and amorphous materials, surfaces of solids, liquids and nano clusters

with focus on, for example, crystal growth, catalysis and electrochemistry. Development of methods for carrying out and analyzing 

electronic structure calculations, such as orbital density dependent functionals and orbital localization methods, with focus on 

localized defect states and loosely bound electrons.  Use of computer calculations in education.
